TimeSource

Enum TimeSource

Source
pub enum TimeSource {
    Manual,
    GnssFix,
    GnssRtc,
    ExternalRtc,
}
Expand description

Where a wall-clock reading came from.

The ordering is not a precedence ranking — see WallClockState::apply, where the rule depends on more than the source alone.

Variants§

§

Manual

A host wrote it, or a person did. The most authoritative source there is: somebody decided this was the time.

§

GnssFix

The time carried by a GNSS position fix.

§

GnssRtc

The GNSS receiver’s own real-time-clock domain, read at boot. On boards where that domain is the only clock that survives a power cycle, it is the board’s real-time clock.

§

ExternalRtc

A dedicated battery-backed real-time clock on the board.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TimeSource

Source

pub const fn is_receiver_derived(self) -> bool

Whether the reading ultimately came from the GNSS receiver, and is therefore governed by PROP_GNSS_TIME_TRUST.

impl Clone for TimeSource

Source§

fn clone(&self) -> TimeSource

Returns a duplicate of the value. Read more
1.0.0§

fn clone_from(&mut self, source: &Self)

Performs copy-assignment from source. Read more

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Source§

impl PartialEq for TimeSource

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &TimeSource) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
