Seeds

Struct Seeds

Source
pub struct Seeds {
    pub session_id: u64,
    pub jitter_seed: u64,
}
Expand description

Values a facade session is started from.

Both come from the platform, so the facade needs no randomness of its own.

Fields§

§session_id: u64

Names the engine instance whose MessageHandles and transmission IDs a platform holds, so they cannot be mistaken for another instance’s after a restart or a rejected batch. Never zero: zero is taken as one.

§jitter_seed: u64

Drives group-repair desynchronization only; scheduling randomness, not security material.

Trait Implementations§

impl PartialEq for Seeds

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Seeds) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
