FamilyState

Enum FamilyState

Source
pub enum FamilyState {
    Disabled = 0,
    NoLink = 1,
    Waiting = 2,
    Ready = 3,
    Conflict = 4,
}
Expand description

Readiness of one address family, shared by PROP_IPV4_STATE and PROP_IPV6_STATE.

Variants§

§

Disabled = 0

IP_DISABLED: the family is configured off.

IP_NO_LINK: the link is down, so there is nothing to address.

§

Waiting = 2

IP_WAITING: the link is up and the family has no usable address yet.

§

Ready = 3

IP_READY: the family holds a usable address. An address, not a route: a device on an isolated network with no gateway is ready.

§

Conflict = 4

IP_CONFLICT: the configured static address is held by something else, which is a fault in the configuration this protocol wrote.

Implementations§

Source§

impl FamilyState

Source

pub const fn code(self) -> u8

Source

pub const fn from_code(code: u8) -> Option<Self>

Source

pub const fn is_ready(self) -> bool

Whether the device can be reached on this family right now.
