AnnounceRequest

Struct AnnounceRequest

Source
pub struct AnnounceRequest {
    pub kind: AnnouncementKind,
    pub flood_hops: u8,
    pub full_source: bool,
    pub channel_key: Option<[u8; 32]>,
}
Expand description

A validated CMD_ANNOUNCE request (see Effect::Announce).

The channel option arrives as an identifier and leaves as the provisioned key it named: the session is where the device’s channel keys live, and the node behind it addresses a channel by key.

Fields§

§kind: AnnouncementKind

Whether to send the signed node identity or a bare beacon.

§flood_hops: u8

The flood budget. Zero reaches only direct neighbors.

§full_source: bool

Whether SRC carries the full public key rather than the hint.

§channel_key: Option<[u8; 32]>

The device channel to send on, or None for a broadcast.

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
